Bryan Barberena will be taking on UFC veteran and former champion Rafael dos Anjos this weekend. The pair will clash in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night: Thompson vs. Holland.
Barberena will face back-to-back former UFC champions after knocking out Robbie Lawler in his most recent fight. 'Bam Bam' is known for his affinity for brawling, and footage recently emerged on Twitter of Bryan Barberena almost knocking out Leon Edwards back in 2017.
'Bam Bam' and 'Rocky' faced off at UFC Fight Night 115, with the current 170lbs champion winning the fight via decision.
In the footage below, Barberena lands a powerful left uppercut that folds Edwards, before 'Rocky' attempts to regain his guard on the ground and recover from the shot.

Barberena has been awarded three Fight of the Night bonuses in his last four fights, and an exciting bout between him and Rafael dos Anjos is all but guaranteed.
Bryan Barberena will be going for Performance of the Night this time round
Bryan Barberena will be taking on Rafael dos Anjos at this weekend's UFC Fight Night event. The co-main event of a stacked Fight Night card, many are looking forward to the clash between 'RDA' and 'Bam Bam'.
Rafael dos Anjos will be moving up to welterweight following a devastating knockout loss against Rafael Fiziev at 155lbs last time out. The Brazilian will hope to make an instant impact at 170lbs.
Barberena is known for his brawler style of fighting and has won the Fight of the Night award on five separate occasions. However, 'Bam Bam' would like to be awarded the Performance of the Night this weekend instead.
Whilst speaking to the media at the pre-fight press conference, Barberena stated:
"We're going for Performance [of the Night]. I want to put on a performance. I owe it to my coach, I owe it to my wife, my kids, my team... We're hoping to seal the deal this time, we're planning on going out there and putting on a really solid performance."
