UFC commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan once commentated on possibly why tech-billionaire Elon Musk was silent about the conspiracy theory regarding the 1969 moon landing.
A few months ago, Rogan had American commentator Matt Walsh on episode #2204 of The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE). At one point during their discussion, Walsh opined that if Musk believed the 1969 moon landing to be a consiparacy theory, he would have made his thoughts public.
Rogan responded by saying that the tech billionaire had a contract with space giant NASA, which could have possibly prevented him from fully speaking his mind on the issue.
"[Elon Musk] has contract with NASA and he has to be very careful about what he says and does and for him to say something incredibly insane like we never went to the moon, even if he believes it, like that would be a big risk with zero reward because there's no way to prove... that we didn't go to the moon. And to say that we didn't go to the moon is a kook take... You can say stupid things like that when you're a comedian who's a podcast host, you know.

"But if you have contracts with NASA and you run SpaceX and you are legitimately breaking some of the greatest breakthroughs in space travel that human beings have ever known... If he really is going to get people to Mars, something has got to be addressed eventually... If they do it and pull it off and it's easy and comfortable, 'Okay, we probably did it in 1969.'"

Joe Rogan speaks about the possibility of working for Elon Musk
Joe Rogan believes that he would not be a good fit when it comes to working for Elon Musk.
During episode #2246 of JRE with James Fox, the 57-year-old shared how Musk works long hours and expects his employees to do the same.
"[Elon Musk] was working 16 hours a day and sleeping on the floor. Well, he demands out of other people too...Maybe you want that, maybe you don't. And if you don't, you can't work there. It's just that simple. If you want that hop on it... that's not a life for me. I wouldn't want that job."
