Former bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley is known for his playful personality, often engaging in pranks and social experiments with his fans. However, one such prank nearly took a dangerous turn when he and YouTuber Juan Gonzalez encountered an ex-convict at a gas station.
In a video posted to the ThatWasEpic channel, O'Malley and Gonzalez can be seen pretending to tow away people's cars as part of a prank. One of the victims of the prank, a man with a history of violence, became extremely defensive when he discovered the car was not being towed.
The situation escalated quickly as the man revealed that he had been to prison for assault and would have likely retaliated if the prank had continued.
Gonzalez, realizing the seriousness of the encounter, quickly defused the situation by explaining that it was all a joke. Following this, the individual revealed:

"Bruh you almost got slept bro. That's crazy bro, 'cause I've been to prison for assault twice already... If you guys would have tried to hook it up [to the tow truck]. Both of you guys would have probably been slept. I'mma go full boxer, so..."

Sean O'Malley issues statement following recent title loss
Sean O'Malley's reign as bantamweight champion came to an abrupt end at Noche UFC 306, as he suffered a decisive loss to Merab Dvalishvili. Despite the defeat, O'Malley has taken responsibility for his performance and expressed his disappointment to his fans.
The fight was a dominant display of grappling from Dvalishvili, who used his superior wrestling and cardio to control the pace of the bout. O'Malley struggled to find his rhythm against Dvalishvili's relentless pressure, and the Georgian's takedown threat forced the champion to be more cautious in his striking.
In the final round, O'Malley made a late push to turn the tide, landing some heavy body shots that briefly troubled Dvalishvili. However, it was too little, too late, and the judges ultimately awarded the unanimous decision victory to the Georgian.
O'Malley, who had made bold predictions of a finish before the fight, acknowledged his failure to deliver on his promises in a post-fight statement. He apologized to his fans for underperforming and expressed his gratitude for their continued support.
"Over-promised, under-delivered. Sorry. Love you guys."
