The noted Hollywood actor, Henry Cavill always had a passion for jiu-jitsu. In addition to his Hollywood ventures, Cavill also trains in the art quite often. In one of his six-year-old interviews, Cavill detailed how he loved training with a UFC veteran once.
Besides several other noteworthy on-screen performances, Cavill earned significant fame after playing Superman in the 2013 Warner Bros.- produced classic, 'Man Of Steel'. His screen presence captivated the audience enough to earn him three more movies where he played Superman. Fans also loved Cavill's role in the Tom Cruise-starer, Mission Impossible: Fallout, which came out in 2018.
Cavill caught up for an interview with The Delve during the pre-release promotion era of 'Mission Impossible: Fallout'. This is where he disclosed his love for jiu-jitsu and mentioned his feelings about having the UFC veteran Roger Gracie as his jiu-jitsu "professor". Cavill also highlighted a few points as to why he loved jiu-jitsu:
"I love jiu-jitsu, and to have a professor like Roger [Gracie] is an absolute privilege. It’s an honor… It’s extraordinary how much it [being in a jiu-jitsu fight] gasses you straight away and it forces you to start thinking. That’s what I like about jiu-jitsu the most, that it is a thinking sport."

There are several other Hollywood stars apart from Henry Cavill who have a martial arts background. Actors like Michael Jai White have also played characters of martial artists in movies. However, the actor in discussion here has another similarity with Cavill as he is also known for playing a supernatural character on screen.
Well, the actor here in context is Tom Hardy, who plays the character of 'Venom'. Hardy has also earned appreciation for his work as the villain, Bane in 'The Dark Knight Rises'.
