Tyson Fury is undoubtedly among the greatest boxers of all time, and the WBC heavyweight champion remains undefeated as a professional pugilist, with 33 wins and one draw on his official record.

Given his boxing prowess, it's no surprise that sparring 'The Gypsy King' is no walk in the park. Malik Scott, former WBC champion Deontay Wilder's head coach, knows this first hand and once got his eardrums busted while sparring Fury. Scott had been tasked with helping 'The Bronze Bomber' regain his WBC title.

Malik Scott is a former professional boxer and once faced Wilder in the ring in March 2014. The fight ended with the Alabama native securing a first-round knockout over Scott. It was later revealed that Scott also trained with Tyson Fury several times, during which he suffered severe ear injuries.

This information came to light during the first Fury vs. Wilder pre-fight press conference for their trilogy. The presser saw 'The Bronze Bomber' hold his silence while Scott addressed media questions and taunts from Fury.

During one exchange, Tyson Fury asked Malik Scott how he expected Deontay Wilder to knock him out when his head coach couldn't do it. Scott responded:

"Me and you never fought Tyson. You bust my eardrum when we sparred... You're a 260-pound man that can fight, you bust my eardrum the first time we sparred... The first day, he busted my eardrum, then I came back and boxed him the next day. Then, the next day, it happened, I couldn't hear, and I couldn't continue to box, this s*** happens in boxing." Deontay Wilder's head coach Malik Scott believes The 'Bronze Bomber' could still knock out Tyson Fury

Deontay Wilder's head coach, Malik Scott, recently weighed in on a potential fourth encounter between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. While the former heavyweight contender appreciates Fury's incredible boxing skills and dominance in the sport, he believes his charge could secure a knockout victory if they fought a fourth time.

Fury and Wilder fought three times, their trilogy bouts arguably being the Alabama native's most high-profile outings. Over three fights, Wilder managed to score four knockdowns against 'The Gypsy King' but failed to secure a knockout.

While Deontay Wilder couldn't put Tyson Fury's lights out then, Malik Scott believes 'The Bronze Bomber' could make it happen if they fought once more. During an interview on TalkSPORT Boxing, Scott said:

"Even though I thought Deontay would knock Fury out, and I still do, if they fought a fourth time, I always said that Fury is special."
