Following a two-week-long hiatus, the UFC will return to Newark, New Jersey, for its sixth pay-per-view event of the year, UFC 302. In the headlining event, lightweight champion Islam Makhachev will make his third title defense against fan favorite Dustin Poirier.
UFC 302 will take place on June 1 at Prudential Center. The first fight of the night is scheduled to begin at the local time of 6 p.m. ET with the main card set to follow at 10 p.m. ET. The preliminary portion of the card will be streaming on ESPN+ with the main card exclusively on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
UFC 302 will be the promotion's return to Newark for the first time since UFC 288 in May 2023. The previous Newark-based fight card was headlined by bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling defending his title against former two-division titleholder Henry Cejudo.
