Paddy Pimblett is a prominent face in the combat sports business. He is an active competitor as a professional mixed martial artist and has competed in multiple divisions. He is currently signed with the elite professional mixed martial arts profession, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) where he competes in the lightweight division.

Pimblett took up training in martial arts in his teenage, he joined Next Generation MMA and made a career out of mixed martial arts sometime later. He made his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2012 and amassed three consecutive victories at the start of his career. He signed with the Irish professional mixed martial arts promotion, Cage Warriors.

Pimblett won the Cage Warriors featherweight championship against Johnny Frachey in 2016. He defended his title once and lost it to Nad Narimani in 2017. He moved to lightweight after his title loss. Pimblett made his promotional debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship against Luigi Vendramini at UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Till on September 4, 2021. He made quick work of Vendramini by winning the fight by first-round KO (punches). He has fought in five fights since his debut in the UFC and has won all his fights in the promotion by defeating his opponents via finishes and decisions.

Paddy Pimblett suffered an injury in action against Jared Gordon on December 10, 2022, at UFC 282. He injured his ankle during the bout but finished the fight and was adjudged the winner by unanimous decision. He required surgery in the aftermath and remained out of competition ever since as he underwent surgery thrice on his ankle.

Paddy Pimblett is now ready and braced up to make his return to the octagon. He will be poised to take on Bobby Green at UFC 304 in Manchester, England on July 27, 2024.
