Superlek Kiatmoo9 knows exactly where some of his $50,000 bonus from his performance on Friday night will go.

In the ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video's main event, ’The Kicking Machine' scored a highlight-reel-worthy third-round knockout of short-notice replacement Danial Williams. Originally scheduled to defend his ONE flyweight kickboxing world championship against ’The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Williams stepped up and answered the call, giving it everything he had against the Thai fan favorite.

Unfortunately, for Williams, it wasn’t enough and Superlek was able to finish him before hitting the championship rounds. As part of his effort, ’The Kicking Machine' was awarded a $50,000 performance bonus from ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong. Asked what he would be doing with the money, Superlek only had one idea in mind:

“Apart from the house renovation for my mom, I don't think I have any plans right now. For now, I will just finish their renovation for her,” he said during his ONE Fight Night 8 post-fight interview.

With his victory over Danial Williams, Superlek earned his 133rd career victory and ninth under the ONE Championship banner. With his first ONE world title defense in the books, ‘The Kicking Machine’ will once again turn his attention to flyweight rival Rodtang Jitmuangnon.

Superlek is ready for Rodtang in either kickboxing or Muay Thai

Superlek Kiatmoo9 knows that a meeting with Muay Thai sensation Rodtang is inevitable. The two striking sensations have been on a collision course previously, but injuries have forced them to postpone in both instances.

Addressing the media following his victory on Friday night, ’The Kicking Machine' suggested that a fight with ’The Iron Man’ would likely be next. But instead of putting his ONE flyweight kickboxing world title on the line, he wants Rodtang to put his ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship up for grabs:

“I think I deserve to challenge him for the title. Rodtang is the number one in Muay Thai, so I would like to try that.”

However, the Thai star recognizes that with no clear contender for his kickboxing crown evident, the promotion could simply rebook his title defense against Rodtang for later this year. If that's the case, ’The Kicking Machine’ will be more than ready to defend what is his before taking what belongs to Rodtang:

“I do not have anyone specific in mind to defend my title. If the next one who will be challenging me for the belt in kickboxing is Rodtang, I am ready.”
