Jorge Masvidal is a prominent combat sports athlete from America born to a Cuban father and a Peruvian mother in Miami, Florida, USA on November 12, 1984. He is best known for his days in the elite professional mixed martial arts promotion, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) where he was a part of some of the most notable fights of his professional mixed martial arts career.

Making his debut in professional mixed martial arts in 2003, Jorge Masvidal’s two-decade-long professional mixed martial arts career was a specimen of his unique fighting style. He was gifted with a knockout power which Masvidal would blend with his brawling style in his fights creating problems for his opponents opposite to him inside the octagon.

Jorge Masvidal competed at lightweight and welterweight weight classes in his mixed martial arts career. He became the inaugural symbolic BMF title holder by defeating Nate Diaz at UFC 244 on November 2, 2019.
