Sean Brady is a professional mixed martial artist born on November 23, 1992, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Fighting in the welterweight class, he has established himself as one of the toughest contenders in the division, notably when it comes to grappling and submissions. Brady began his combat sports training with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he eventually got his black belt, then added striking to his arsenal. The Philadelphia native made his professional MMA debut in 2014 and went on to become an immediate presence in the regional circuits. Through this undefeated streak and quality of fighting, he secured his contract in the UFC in 2019. Since then, Brady certainly has continued to prove himself through his fighting in the UFC, keeping his undefeated streak intact until 2022, when he received his first professional loss to Belal Muhammad at UFC 280. Nevertheless, Brady remains one of the top contenders in the welterweight division, with a professional record of 16 wins and 1 loss as of September 2024.

Brady’s the most important victory was against Michael Chiesa in November 2021 to help seal a unanimous decision win, which stamped him as an active threat within the welterweight rankings. Brady next outing is against Gilbert Burns at UFC Fight Night on September 7, 2024, a bout that is highly anticipated as it could propel him further up the division's rankings​
