The iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand was rocking all night long at ONE Fight Night 7: Lineker vs. Andrade II on Friday, February 24.
Two world titles hung in the balance, as the vacant bantamweight throne finally got a new ruler, while the featherweight Muay Thai world championship stayed in Thailand.
In the main event, Fabricio ‘Wonder Boy’ Andrade pummeled his heated rival John Lineker for four rounds to claim that elusive 145-pound gold strap.
The 25-year-old put on a striking masterclass that left ‘Hands of Stone’ visibly battered and bruised. After 20 minutes, Lineker waved the white flag while on the stool, officially ushering in the Andrade era.

Elsewhere, Tawanchai PK.Saenchai made a triumphant return to the 'Mecca of Muay Thai' by tenderizing Jamal Yusupov’s leg in under a round for a successful first world title defense of his featherweight Muay Thai crown.
As per ONE Championship tradition, those who put on spectacular outings received a well-deserved $50,000 performance bonus for their handiwork.
Let’s have a look at the two fighters who took home the bounty at ONE Fight Night 7.
#2. Tommy Langaker (lightweight submission grappling)
There’s a reason why Tommy Langaker is one of the most feared names in Europe’s submission grappling scene.
Following his epic promotional debut against Renato Canuto at ONE 160 last year, the Norwegian BJJ savant took on the dangerous sambo world champion Uali Kurzhev.
Langaker blew the Russian out of the water in less than three minutes.
The pair of hulking lightweights opened the bout with an intense grip fight to secure a favorable position. The 29-year-old Norwegian displayed his athleticism with a quick flying triangle attempt and was content sitting in guard at first.
After a brief reset from the referee, Langaker pulled guard once more and latched on to Kurzhev’s legs. A panicked Kurzhev tried to scramble out immediately, considering he was tapped in the same manner by lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo in his last fight.
To his credit, the sambo superstar tried to mount his own offense when the pair got into a brief 50-50 position. Langaker, however, was just a step ahead and locked in a painful heel hook for a quick tap at the 2:58 mark of Round 1.
After collecting his $50,000 bonus post-fight, the Wulfing Academy standout called out the division’s kingpin Kade Ruotolo. Langaker even mockingly called the American “Sideshow Bob”, a character from the animated comedy 'The Simpsons'.
After a great performance and mic skills like that, it’s hard to deny Langaker his world title shot.
#1. Tawanchai PK.Saenchai (ONE featherweight Muay Thai)
Even while carrying the weight of expectations of an entire nation, Tawanchai PK.Saenchai delivered when the lights shined the brightest.
The 23-year-old striking prodigy barely broke a sweat in his first world title defense against second-ranked challenger Jamal Yusupov.
The red-hot ‘Yeniceri’, who had racked up three straight victories inside the circle, carried a menacing swagger inside the legendary arena. Not one to back down from any challenge, the calm and collected Tawanchai methodically assaulted his 39-year-old challenger with push kicks at a safe distance.
After getting his range, the Thai hero uncorked a brutal leg kick that had the Turkish fighter limping in an instant.
Listen to the sickening thud that reverberated around the arena after that massive kick:
The heavy-handed Yusupov is as tough as they come, but the sheer impact of that single shot took him out of his game completely. Referee Olivier Coste waved off the match at just 49 seconds, sending the pro-Tawanchai crowd into an absolute frenzy.
After receiving the second performance bonus of the evening, a gracious Tawanchai thanked the promotion's Chairman Chatri Sityodtong and the entire Lumpinee Stadium crowd for their unwavering support.
