Caio Borralho, a Brazilian mixed martial artist with a black belt in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a brown belt in Judo, was born on January 16, 1993. He fights in the middleweight division of the UFC and has a 13-bout winning streak as of August 2024.

The Natural has just lost one bout in 2015, against Joao Carvalho via decision, and one no-contest in 2018. Other than this, he has won 16 bouts. As he said, fighting just comes naturally to him, which explains his nickname too. The initial credit for his MMA career could be given to Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee movies, as he got attracted to martial arts after watching them. However, his Judo training began at the age of six, since his mother wanted him to be more respectful. Being a professional mixed martial artist, he is also an academic and earned the nickname "King of Nerds" for his love of superhero movies, anime, video games, and chess. He also has a physical education degree. However, he went to college for industrial chemistry in 2011 but dropped out in 2014 to focus on MMA.

Caio Borralho's glasses

Caio Borralho has astigmatism and myopia, and he has worn glasses since he was three years old. However, the details of it are not known. During an interview with Sherdog, Borralho said that his glasses-wearing appearance has given him a more nerdy and cerebral personality that makes him more of a strategist during bouts.

He went on to say that one of his signature approaches while working with his team, the "Fighting Nerds," is to study their opponents' movements, weaknesses, and overall strategy. He places a strong emphasis on debunking the myth that fighters lack intelligence and that nerds can achieve anything once they set their minds to it.
