Being one of the most prominent boxers ever to compete in the history of the heavyweight division, Deontay Wilder has already earned a fortune through his professional stint. Regarding accolades, he is the former reigning WBC heavyweight champion from 2015 to 2020.

He made his professional debut on November 15, 2008, and won the bout via a second-round TKO. Ever since, Deontay Wilder has managed to stay undefeated for more than a decade till 2020. Moreover, he won the WBC Continental Americas heavyweight championship by defeating Kelvin Prince via knockout in the third round.

On January 17, 2015, Deontay Wilder won the WBC heavyweight title for the first time by defeating the former champion Bermane Stiverne via a unanimous decision after a twelve-rounder. Moreover, he also defended the championship successfully for ten times straight until facing Tyson Fury in 2020 for the second time. Wilder got knocked down by Fury in their first rematch, which was held on February 22, 2020. However, Wilder immediately had a second rematch and lost the bout via a seventh-round knockout. Hence, he lost his WBC heavyweight title to Tyson Fury.
