WWE World Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has been called out by former UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Shane Carwin. The retired MMA fighter who lost to Lesnar for the Undisputed UFC Heavyweight Title at UFC 116 in 2010 has stated that he is interested in facing the Beast Incarnate.
Carwin, who left the UFC in 2013, has agreed to come out of retirement only if Lesnar agrees to a rematch. Talking to Fox Sports.com Carwin said:
“I’m all in. All the pain would be worth that. [In the first fight] I should have let him up and kept punching him in the head. Lesson learned. Cain [Velasquez] learned it. If I didn’t make it obvious what to do to that guy, the next guy did.”
“He’s not coming back. I don’t even know why he would have the desire.”
Lesnar returned to the WWE early in 2014 and has been enjoyed an impressive year so far, ending The Undertaker’s streak at Wrestlemania and demolishing John Cena at SummerSlam which earned him the WWE World belts.
