After spending almost the whole of 2015 in anticipation, CM Punk fans finally have a glimmer of hope as it seems that his UFC debut is within striking distance. Punk, real name Phil Brooks, posted this on Twitter:
Punk wasn’t the only one who went through the same ordeal. Women’s Bantamweight contender Miesha Tate, who will face Rousey-slayer Holly Holm at UFC 197 on March 3rd, posted this before Punk:

The tests are proof that the UFC’s latest stand on the doping issue is quite stringent. A potential opponent for Punk has been all but determined in Mickey Gall. The twenty-four-year-old fighter recently received a UFC contract following his calling out of Punk after a fight in a smaller promotion, where the company’s President, Dana White.
Gall has just one fight under his belt and will face debutante Mike Jackson at UFC 196 on February 6th. A win will see his wish of welcoming CM Punk into the octagon granted.
