#AndTheNew

The story of The Count in the UFC is very similar to that of Rocky Balboa in the fictional movie series ‘Rocky’. Michael Bisping worked for a decade to finally get a title shot at the UFC championship, before which he defeated the great Anderson Silva, and lately, he outdid Legendary Dan Henderson.

Ever since then, the champ has been calling out big names. The latest on his list on his list is Georges St-Pierre. Despite expressing his desire to fight the greatest welterweight, he states to have only accepted the fight verbally.

Bisping has had a line of success in the past two years and wants to have another super fight with a legend of the sport. He confirmed his interest to face ‘Rush’ via Twitter:

There were rumours of GSP fighting on the Toronto card of UFC 206, but UFC President Dana White shot down those claims, slamming the former champ by stating that ‘he isn’t hungry to fight anymore’.

Ever since GSP announced his desire to return, the UFC and the Canadian have been opposing each other. Dana White had stated on Fox Sports that Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony Johnson would be the main event for UFC 206.

According to the tweets of Chris Taylor from Bjpenn.com, Bisping’s coaches told him that they are targeting for UFC 206.

Michael Bisping won the UFC Middleweight Title after earning a shot at then champion Luke Rockhold. He knocked out Rockhold to become the first champion from England, also avenged his previous loss to him. He successfully defended the title against Dan Henderson, outworking him for five rounds to win the title.

Bisping has been an inspiration to a lot of young athletes out there. Despite, medically suspended for the injuries he suffered in the hands of Henderson, he is looking forward to fighting again at UFC 206.
