Zebaztian Kadestam showcased some of the work he’s putting in ahead of his clash against Roberto Soldic.
On May 5, Kadestam will make his 11th appearance in the circle at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, the promotion’s first event in North America. The former welterweight world champion has been matched up against the always dangerous ‘Robocop', who is extra motivated after a disappointing promotional debut.
Kadestam isn’t making the mistake of overlooking Soldic. ‘The Bandit’ posted an Instagram video of his hard work with the caption saying:
“5 weeks left leaving no stone unturned River of blood may 5th Kill or be Killed Don’t blink #ONEFIGHTNIGHT10”

Kadestam started his ONE tenure with a 2-1 record before securing the vacant welterweight world championship against Tyler McGuire. After defending the title once, the Swedish fighter lost his belt to Kiamrian Abbasov, leading to a three-fight losing streak. ‘The Bandit’ got back on track in 2022, winning two fights by first-round knockout.
Soldic was one of the biggest free agents in 2022, creating massive expectations when he signed with ONE Championship. ‘Robocop’ made his promotional debut in December 2022, which ended in disaster after Murad Ramazanov landed an illegal groin strike. The 28-year-old will look to validate his world championship aspirations by taking out the former welterweight king at ONE Fight Night 10.

“I know that he won’t give up. He will come to fight, for sure... But it’s nothing new for me, really. I have been in so many bad positions and good positions.”

The highly anticipated event features three world championship fights and plenty of star power.
