Chinese mixed martial artist Zhang Weili was born on August 13, 1989. She is the reigning UFC Women's Strawweight Champion as of February 4, 2025. Weili has been a professional mixed martial artist since 2013. Prior to that, she was the women's strawweight champion at Kunlun Fight (KLF). She is currently ranked No. 2 in the UFC women's pound-for-pound rankings as of February 2025.

In 2013, Zhang made her professional MMA debut. She would go on to win 11 straight bouts after suffering a unanimous decision loss to Meng Bo in her professional debut. At Kunlun Fight 11, Weili defeated Simone Duante for the 2017 Kunlun Fight Female Strawweight Championship. On August 4, 2018, she made her promotional debut in the UFC, taking on Danielle Taylor at UFC 227. She secured a unanimous decision victory in the bout. On March 3, 2019, Tecia Torres and Zhang squared off at UFC 235. She outclassed Torres and registered a unanimous decision win. On August 31, 2019, Zhang competed against Jéssica Andrade for the UFC Women's Strawweight Championship. She won the match with a first-round technical knockout to win the strawweight title and become the first Chinese champion in UFC history.
