Ember Sword has been launched in Early Access as an NFT-driven free-to-play MMORPG game. Developed by indie developers Bright Star Studios, this immutable blockchain game aims to offer an engaging experience for those dipping their toes into this genre of gaming. With the Early Access period being live, players can dive into the world of Solarwood either solo or with friends.
Since the game is in active development, the team has plenty of features planned to be implemented. Here are the full details.
How do you play Ember Sword Early Access?
To start playing the game right now, you must:
- Visit the official Ember Sword website and register an account.
- Sign in and select Play Now to start the game online.
- Optionally connect your EVM wallet such as MetaMask.
After the chaos of the Flux storm, the world of Solarwood has been thrust into danger. You must harvest resources, engage in quests, and get better loot like weapons and armor. PvP matches are also available in addition to purchasable plots of land for settlements. As you grow stronger, you can invest in skills, and rafting is also possible using obtained resources.
That said, rarer cosmetics will be NFT-driven and can be traded with other players as desired. Personalization is also a highlight, with Ember Sword allowing a custom avatar as well as skins, emotes, and more, including premium options for you to show off to your friends. Furthermore, you can merge lower-tier cosmetics into higher tier using $EMBER tokens.
For its Early Access duration, the game will only be on PC with expansions boasting new content, more cosmetics, and so on planned for the future. That said, this is a browser-based experience, so no app download or client is required since players can run it on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Apple Safari is unsupported for now while Mozilla Firefox works but may have some issues.
Ember Sword Early Access is available right now on PC via browser.
