Timeworn Wayfarer is one of the seasonal weapons available with Destiny 2 Episode Echoes Act I. It is an Aggressive Framed Solar Scout Rifle that fires at 120 rounds per minute. Hence, it is quite slow while having decent damage and falloff distance to make up for it. Players will also find new perks that were added with The Final Shape expansion, making multiple perk combinations the primary choice for both game modes (PvE and PvP).

The following perks are considered the best perks for clearing groups of mobs from a fair distance:

Arrowhead Brake for increased recoil control and Handling.
Tactical Mag for increased magazine, reload speed, and Stability.
Heal Clip for curing the user after reloading on a kill.
Incandescent for a Solar explosion on kill, scorching adjacent targets.

While the perks above are meant for a more add-clearing approach, here is a list of perks that can make Timeworn Wayfarer lethal against powerful bosses and elites:

The same perks in the first two columns (Arrowhead Brake and Tactical Mag).
Dual loader for additional ammo while reloading. This number increases to two ammo with an enhanced version.
Precision Instrument for increased damage after sustained precision damage on one target.

Instead of Heal Clip or Dual Loader, Shoot to Loot/Strategist are great utility perks to have in the third column for PvE.

The following perks are considered the best perks on Timeworn Wayfarer for PvP:

Polygonal Rifling for increased Stability on the weapon.
Accurized Rounds for increased Range on the weapon.
To the Pain for increased Handling and aim-assist on the weapon after getting damaged.
Desperate Measures for increased weapon damage with final blows. The duration improves with an enhanced version.

There are other options in the fourth column such as Precision Instrument, Opening Shot, and Eye of the Storm. These are all recommended perks for any PvP situations.

How to get Timeworn Wayfarer in Destiny 2

As mentioned, the Timeworn Wayfarer Scout Rifle is tied to Episode Echoes. Hence, the weapon can be acquired from Episode Echoes activities, or the Failsafe vendor at the HELM. Since this is a craftable weapon, players can also check in every week at Failsafe and slowly accumulate five Deepsight versions.

However, it is recommended you complete all six steps for the "A Rising Chorus" quest, followed by the Specimen quests from Failsafe to unlock focusing for both seasonal weapons and armor pieces.
