List of unique Marvel Snap Disruption decks
1) Sandman control
Sandman can limit both players to only one card per turn, which gives instant control over opponents. Alongside Electro, that give an extra energy boost while still maintaining the Sandman limitation, hindering any fast-moving combo decks.
Cards such as Wave and Leech also prevent your opponent from making important turn plays during the end phase. By Turn 6, you can have high-impact figures such as Doctor Doom, which can fill locations even with Sandman’s limitations.
2) Junk deck
Some cards, such as Debris, Green Goblin and Viper, force your opponent to have few spaces to play because they are low-power or negative-power cards. Green Goblin’s -3 power, along with Debris, who occupies two lanes with Rocks, becomes a problem for opponents when they try to use their board to its full potential.
Viper can send over negative-cost cards to your opponent, making it worse for them. The low-value cards are always on their side of the board, which means that they cannot build up any real steam. This strategy is especially effective against combo decks, where players do not have the luxury of the board space.
3) Leech lock
Leech removes all abilities from the cards in your opponent’s hand, especially on the critical Turn 5 or Turn 6, leaving behind mere shells. When combined with cards, such as Electro or Wave, to boost your energy generation, this deck can often put your opponent in a helpless spot.
By the time they can play their key cards, Leech ensures they no longer have game-winning abilities, thus making what should be their strongest turns a waste of time. The disruption that this deck can create in the early game, coupled with the ability of Leech to slow down the opponent even further, makes this deck very hard to deal with.
4) Discard deck
With cards such as Lady Sif, Dracula and Helicarrier, you can develop a strategy in which discarding is advantageous. Helicarrier causes your opponent to never know what cards you have in your hand when you discard them. The discard mechanic is random and thus puts pressure on your opponent to make suboptimal moves because they do not know what kind of threat you can produce next.
5) Sera control
The Sera control disruption deck relies on outplaying opponents by reducing the cost of your cards, allowing you to play multiple problematic cards on key turns. Sera, by reducing the cost, can help you wipe out the opponent’s cards, destroy their abilities and ruin their game plan. Furthermore, she can also allow you to spam the board with disruption cards, like Enchantress, Shang-Chi and Killmonger.
This deck's strength lies in the fact that it can wait until the end of the game to pull out a series of cards that the opponent cannot counter.
