Honor of Kings Season 7, titled Architects of Fate, is here. This marks the first major update since the game's global release, and players can expect a host of exciting upgrades and features. To access the new content, players need to download a package of over 280 MB from their respective app stores. A 150 MB in-game update will then unlock the new battlefield of the Hero's Gorge.

Honor of Kings Season 7 major battlefield upgrades
Honor of Kings Season 7 introduces three significant upgrades to the game's battlefield mechanics.
1) Ranged Minions
Upon destroying all of the opposing team's high-ground towers, minion waves in all lanes will be strengthened.

Rather than the standard Melee Super Minion + Melee Minion + Ranged Minion wave, minion waves in all lanes will be adjusted to Melee Super Minion + Ranged Super Minion + Cannon. This has been done to give players "an additional objective to strive for beyond destroying the Crystal when the battle is fought to a standstill in the late game."
When a Ranged Minion is upgraded to a Super Ranged Minion, its base stats will be upgraded as follows:
- Base Health increased from 1,700 to 3,000
- Base attack increased from 90 to 300
- Base Magical Attack increased from 90 to 300
- Gold and EXP rewards for defeating Ranged Super Minions remain the same as Ranged Minions.
Firehawk Nest
In Honor of Kings Season 7, a new Firehawk Nest will appear in the Farm Lane 30 seconds into the match. The developer has made the Firehawk a critical resource in the Farm Lane to help support heroes assist marksmen more in the early game.

Defeating the Firehawk grants a base reward of 40 Gold and 80 EXP. the entire team also gets 100 Gold, split evenly among all members. Respawn rules remain unchanged in the Honor of Kings Season 7 update.
Space Sprite
A Space Sprite will spawn at the Teleportation Portal located in the Clash Lane two minutes into the game. Defeating the Space Sprite grants 40 Gold and 50 EXP while also activating the portal. The Space Sprite only spawns once.
New monthly themes and skills
In addition to these upgrades, Honor of Kings Season 7 features a monthly rotation of Battlefield Theme Modes, starting with October's Spirit of the Gorge. The update also introduces a new common skill called Prison Spirit and a new in-game mechanic called Spirit Vision.
Prison Spirit allows players to slow down and imprison enemies. It will be available from September 25, 2024, to October 17, 2024.
Spirit Vision will be launched on October 17, 2024, and it will be available until October 31, 2024.
