All hunters and Sung Jinwoo weapon balance adjustment in Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update

Netmarble rolled out a new Solo Leveling Arise update on October 10, 2024. It includes the debut of a new Fire-type Hunter, Gina, a Sung Jinwoo weapon, new events, and more. In addition to the new content, balance adjustments have been made to two SSR hunters and one SSR Sung Jinwoo weapon. Netmarble discussed these adjustments briefly in October’s developer note.

Hunters balance adjustment in Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update

Two hunters, SSR Yoo Soohyun and Choi Jong-In have received balance adjustments in the Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update.

Here are the details:

SSR Yoo Soohyun

Netmarble has adjusted Yoo Soohyun’s Passive and Advancement tier effects:

Passive: Magic Firearms that Yoo Soohyun summons deal damage equal to 160% of her attack compared to the previous 40%.
Advancement tier 1: When Yoo Soohyun uses Killshot, it activates her Core Attack and increases her Core damage by 40% for 3 seconds, compared to the previous 30%. The cooldown effect remains the same at 16 seconds. Additionally, the Madness effect changes Killshot to Hellfire and increases her damage by 40%, compared to the previous 30%.
Advancement tier 2: It increases the hunter’s Defense Penetration by 12%, compared to the previous 10%.
Advancement tier 5: It increases the damage of Killshot and Hell Fire by 6%, compared to the previous 4%, for each instance of Magic Reaction. The damage limit has also increased to up to 120%.

SSR Choi Jong-In

Netmarble has adjusted Choi Jong-In’s Passive, Advancement 3, Burn effect, and Exclusive Weapon. Here are the details regarding the adjustments:

Passive: Choi Jong-In’s damage increases by 50%, compared to the previous 40%. Additionally, The Ultimate Hunter’s effect increases Choi Jog-In’s attack and Defense Penetration by 20%, up from the prior 16%.
Advancement 3: It increases the damage of Choi Jong-In’s Ultimate Skill, End of Days, by 60%, compared to the previous 50%.
Burn effect: It deals damage equal to 100%, compared to the previous 50%, of Choi Jong-In’s attack every 3 seconds. This change is applied to the Burn effect he inflicts with Core, Support, and QTE Skills.
Equivalent Exchange: Netmarble has adjusted the attack increase amount of Equivalent Exchange at Advancement tier 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The weapon’s attack increases by 8%, 11%, 14%, 17%, and 20% at Advancement tier 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, up from the previous 7.5%, 10%, 12.5%, 15%, and 18%.

Sung Jinwoo balance adjustment in Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update

Netmarble has adjusted the SSR Sung Jinwoo weapon, Demon King’s Longsword, in the Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update.

Demon King’s Longsword has received adjustments to its Advancement tiers 0, 1, 3, and 5 in the Solo Leveling Arise October 10 update. The developers have also added new effects to the tiers 3 and 5:

Advancement tier 0: It creates a shield equal to 50% of Sung Jinwoo’s max HP, compared to the previous 20%. Netmarble has also adjusted the weapon’s Storm of White Flames effect. It increases Sung Jinwoo’s attack by 12%, compared to the previous 8%. The lightning effect it creates deals damage equal to 200% of Sung Jinwoo’s attack in nearby areas every 0.75 seconds, compared to the previous 120%.
Advancement tier 1: The Stroke of Lightning deals damage equal to 100% of Sung Jinwoo’s attack, compared to the previous 60%.
Advancement tier 3 (new effect): The damage of Storm of White Flames buffs by 30%. When the Storm of White Flames is active, the Wind damage increases by 10%.
Advancement tier 5: The weapon applies Benediction of White Flames and the Final Thunderbolt effect when the lightning hits. The Final Thunderbolt deals damage equal to 1,600% of Sung Jinwoo’s attack on nearby enemies, compared to the previous 800%. Netmarble has added a new effect to the tier that enhances the Stroke of Lightning effect. The enhanced Stroke of Lightning effect deals damage equal to 200% of Sung Jinwoo’s attack (cools down in 0.3 seconds). Sung Jinwoo applies the Stroke of Lightning effect when he hits the same enemy three times.
