1) Storm
On Reveal: Flood this location. Next turn is the last turn cards can be played here.
Storm will be more expensive after the update, making the combination of War Machine, Legion, and Storm harder to use. Its increased power will also allow the card to be more independent.
2) Misery
On Reveal: Repeat the On Reveal abilities of your other cards here, then destroy them.
Misery's ability removes too much power from the team, making her side of the location quite weak. To counter this, the power of Misery has been increased, making her a bit harder to defeat, if she is alone in the location.
3) Electro
On Reveal: +1 Max Energy. Ongoing: You can only play 1 card a turn.
While Electro's cost remains the same, the card has received a buff in power to make it a more viable option as an energy-generation card.
4) Rockslide
On Reveal: Shuffle 2 Rocks into your opponent’s deck.
In Marvel Snap, new cards are drawn from the deck each turn. If one or more of the new cards are Rock, it leaves the player with very few options for the turn. Since this was visibly annoying, the cost of Rockslide has been increased to make it harder to use. This card's increased power compensates for its hiked cost.
5) Shadow King
On Reveal: Reset all cards here to their original Power.
This card has been buffed to make it a prominent option to counter decks that boost cards. For instance, Agent Venom card's ability turns the power of all cards in the deck to four. Shadow King can be used as a direct counter for such cards.
6) Klaw
Cost: 5, Power: 4
Klaw's stats have remained unchanged, but his ability has been buffed.
- Previous Ongoing ability: The location to the right has +8 Power.
- New Ongoing ability: The location to the right has +7 Power.
Since Klaw is too powerful as a Series 1 card, it is often used in the lower levels of the game. To incentivize players to use diverse cards, Klaw's ability has been nerfed.
7) Daredevil
Ability: On turn 5, you get to see your opponent’s plays before you make your own.
Daredevil is given a buff in power so it can be used in various decks. The ability and cost have remained unchanged.
8) Miek
Ability: When you discard a card, this gains +1 Power and can move next turn.
Discard strategies are seemingly making a comeback after Scorn's release. Another card that can utilize this return is Miek, as it gains power when cards are discarded. This card is made stronger to make it a good fit in discard decks.
9) Typhoid Mary
Cost: 4, Power: 10
Typhoid Mary's stats remain unchanged, but her ability has been improved.
- Previous Ongoing ability: Your other cards have -1 Power.
- New Ongoing ability: Your other cards here have -1 Power.
Previously, using Typhoid Mary reduced the power of all cards on the player's side by -1. From now on, the ability will only affect the cards in the location where Typhoid Mary is played.
