Before diving into the potential new features in Arena Breakout Mobile, it's important to note that these ideas are not final and are intended to give players insight into the areas Level Infinite is focusing on.
1) Technical updates
Many players have experienced the Sunken Corpses glitch, which misplaces gamers' locations on the battlefield, usually underground, making loot inaccessible. This issue arose after the introduction of ragdoll physics in Season 3.
To mitigate this problem, players can adjust graphics and frame rate settings, and if the glitch persists, close background applications or restart the game. The developer is actively monitoring and optimizing server performance based on player feedback to address this glitch.
2) Game environment
The development team has also noticed toxic behaviors within the game, such as teamkilling and loot stealing. To combat this issue, harsh penalties, including a one-year ban, will be implemented for players who intentionally and repeatedly kill their own teammates.
To address loot stealing, future features may include cooldowns before accessing players' locked rooms. Season 7's Solo Ops will enable players to play without the interference of toxic teammates. Additionally, loot-sharing options during matchmaking or loot lockouts are being considered to match players with similar preferences.
Another issue highlighted in the X post is the information asymmetry among players, which has caused some unfair imbalances. To tackle this problem, the developer will tweak spread damage effects in Season 7, allowing players more time to respond to ambushes. Since this is a minor change, the studio is exploring other solutions to mitigate this issue.
3) Service improvements
To encourage F2P players in Arena Breakout Mobile, the developer will give away a free skin to all players in Season 7. More freebies, such as cosmetics, can be expected in the future.
