Addressing the underlying matchmaking logic, Mine and Port Lockdown Zones will be discontinued from the mode rotation in Arena Breakout Season 7.
In the official post, the developer acknowledged that this might be sad news for some players. However, they hope this change will have a positive impact on the title. Considering map performance and community feedback, the studio concluded that the two Lockdown Zones couldn't satisfy players' expectations ever since they were made permanent.
That said, Mine and Port's normal variants will remain intact in-game, allowing players to explore the former's urban combat and the latter's wide-open landscapes freely. Moreover, until the Season 7 patch arrives on December 19, 2024, there's still time to enjoy the two Lockdown Zones in the ongoing Season 6 Sprint.

- Spread damage effects will likely be tweaked a little to allow players additional time to respond to ambushes.
- Free skin and other cosmetics are likely to be given away to all players.
