Water element
It deals water-type damage and certain Ash Echoes characters can create a water zone with their skills. The enemies receive an additional 10% damage from water-type skills inside the water zone. These zones can dry out quickly in Dry Environments. On the other hand, they enlarge and last longer in Wet Environments.
Physical element
It deals physical-type damage but doesn’t generate any elemental reactions. However, Echomancers of the Physical element can capitalize on elemental reactions, such as Vaporization (damage reduction), Melt (additional damage-dealing ability), and more.

Lightning element
It inflicts lightning-type damage and can generate elemental reactions in Ash Echoes. However, Echomancers cannot create zones using the lightning element. Reactions that can be created by the lightning element are Explosion, Electroconduct, and Electrolysis.
Fire element
It deals fire-type damage, and some Echomancers can create Fire zones. Using fire-type skills in Dry Environments can also create Fire zones. The enemies caught in Fire zones receive Fire damage equal to 1% of their current HP every second. The damage is capped at the value of the Tactical Engraving’s Terminal stat.
Ice element
It deals ice-type damage, and some Echomancers can generate Ice zones with their skills. They can also create Ice zones by dealing Ice damage to enemies within Water zones. The foes inside the Ice zone continuously suffer the Chill effect and will freeze after a brief period.
Dealing Ice damage on frozen enemies can trigger Frostbreak, killing them immediately. Players can quickly generate Ice zones in Wet Environments, where they last longer.
Corrosion element
It deals corrosion-type damage and grants the Terminal Corrosion Accumulation. When the Corrosion Accumulation reaches 100, all enemies receive Corrosion Accumulation damage based on their current HP percentage. After dealing damage, the Corrosion Accumulation value will reset. This effect has a cooldown of 15 seconds.
Whenever the Corrosion Accumulation damage triggers, the Engraving Attack stat of Corrosion Echomancers increases and can stack up to five times. This effect increases with the Engraving TRM value and is further enhanced when the Engraving TRM exceeds 1,000 points.
Wind element
It inflicts wind-type damage and doesn't produce elemental reactions. However, it also deals Extra damage to airborne enemies. Some Echomancers' skills with this element can dispel Toxic Mist.
Complete details about Ash Echoes elemental reactions
When certain elements are used together on the battlefield, they create an effect that is called an elemental reaction. Here are all the elemental reactions in Ash Echoes and their effects:
Vaporization elemental reaction
This elemental reaction occurs when an enemy inside a Water Zone receives Fire damage or Water damage inside a Fire Zone. The reaction creates a Vaporized Zone and allies within the zone take 50% less damage.

Explosion elemental reaction
This elemental reaction happens when an enemy inside Fire Zones incurs Lightning damage. The reaction deals additional damage to enemies based on the ATK and MST of the Echomancer that caused it.
Melt elemental reaction
This elemental reaction occurs when an enemy suffers Ice damage inside Fire Zones or receives Fire damage inside Ice Zones. The reaction reduces enemies’ Basic DR by 5% (up to a maximum of 60%).
Electroconduct elemental reaction
This elemental reaction happens when an enemy inside a Water Zone takes Lightning damage. If a Basic Attack deals lightning-type damage inside Water Zones, it will inflict the Paralyze effect on a single enemy. On the other hand, skills dealing lightning damage in Water Zones inflict the Paralyze effect on all enemies (within the Water Zone).
Frozen elemental reaction
This elemental reaction occurs in Ash Echoes when enemies take Ice damage inside Water Zones. Likewise, enemies inside Ice Zones taking Water damage also trigger the Frozen elemental reaction. The reaction Freezes enemies, making them unable to take action.
