Tips to counter Super Knight in Clash Royale
1) Use high-DPS troop on Super Knight
Super Knight’s special ability activates when he is not attacking. Therefore, players should distract him with troops that prevent him from using it.
Deploying high-DPS troops like Mini Pekka against Super Knight is effective. When Mini Pekka engages Super Knight, it will instantly trigger his melee attack. Since he is attacking, Super Knight won’t be able to activate his special ability, reducing incoming damage.
2) Use army swarms
While army swarms might seem ineffective, they can sometimes work well against Super Knight, resulting in a positive elixir trade. Players should ensure their opponent does not have any spell cards like Arrows, Log, or Zap in their battle cycle before using any army swarm.
As Super Knight will be busy attacking each unit individually, players can easily take him down. This strategy will also deactivate Super Knight’s special ability as his focus would be on attacking the army swarm units.
3) Deploy air and ground combination
Air troops cannot defeat Super Knight while his special ability is active, as it significantly reduces damage. Therefore, players should distract Super Knight with a ground troop like Elixir Golem. Once he starts attacking, his ability will deactivate.
At this point, air troops like Inferno Dragon and Minion Horde can be deployed to quickly take him down and initiate a counter-push. However, Minion Horde should only be used if the opponent does not have spells like Arrows or Fireball in their battle cycle.
