The Trophy Season system is receiving a complete rework, now featuring 50 Tiers, with the highest one named Max. The developers have tried to make progress through the new system feel more straightforward with the following implementations:

  • Max Tier is achieved when a Brawler reaches 1000 Trophies.
  • Players will now gain a new Tier for every 20 Trophies earned.
  • Trophy gain and loss have been adjusted to make progress smoother, especially below 1000 Trophies.

However, after reaching the 1100 Trophies mark, players may start losing more of those than they earn in the Brawl Stars October 2024 update. Each Trophy Season will now align with the Brawl Pass season, and all Brawlers with over 1000 Trophies will reset back to 1000 at the end of each season. However, there will be no reset for Brawlers with fewer than 1000 Trophies.

Furthermore, players can earn Season Trophies after achieving 1000 Trophies with any Brawler. These will help them contribute to the Trophy Box and earn more rewards, as soon as the season reset occurs on November 7, 2024.

The Trophy Box replaces the old Bling rewards and adds an exciting new layer to the progression. Depending on a player's performance, the Trophy Box will level up through five stages:

  • Small Box
  • Big Box
  • Mega Box
  • Omega Box
  • Ultra Box

These boxes offer better rewards as they level up, focusing primarily on cosmetic items. Players can expect guaranteed skins, and higher-level boxes may even contain Mythic, Legendary, or Hypercharge skins as well as Gems.

Matchmaking and leaderboard adjustments

Matchmaking changes will mostly affect the players who have over 1000 Trophies with a Brawler, following the introduction of the Brawl Stars October 2024 update. Here are the key features:

  • Post the 1000 Trophies mark, all players are placed into a single matchmaking pool, to reduce wait times for high-Trophy matches.
  • The Underdog system will no longer apply for Brawlers with above 1000 Trophies.
  • Win Streaks will now be tracked individually for each Brawler, making it easier to push specific Brawlers without disrupting overall progress.
  • Although casual and pro players may occasionally share matchmaking pools, it should be rare due to the vast number of the former kind.

Additionally, Supercell will introduce two types of leaderboards in the Brawl Stars October 2024 update:

  • Seasonal leaderboard: Resets every season, tracking the highest performance during the season.
  • All-time leaderboard: Tracks the highest Trophy count ever achieved with a Brawler.
