Clash Royale recently hinted at a new Goblin Card in its trailer for the next episode of TV Royale. The troop will likely be called 'Goblinstein,' drawing inspiration from the fictional character Frankenstein. Golblinstein will be the twelfth Goblin card in Clash Royale.
Three of the 11 Goblin cards were recently released in June 2024, with two receiving Evolutions. Supercell's recent focus on Goblin cards prompted Reddit user u/ALVIN_420 to post on the platform, complaining about recent developments:
Another user, u/chickenmann, also complained that the apparent focus on Goblins for the previous few months was not what they expected. They commented:

"I’m so sick of this whole goblin theme c**p they’ve had the last few months."
User u/gruble speculated that players may need to 'push Goblin Ladder' to unlock the new card. Previously, cards like Goblin Curse, Goblin Demolisher, and Goblin Machine were released via Goblin Queen's Journey, which may be the case again. They claimed:
"I'm gonna have to push Goblin Ladder to get more Goblinstein cards, won't I?"
Meanwhile, user u/SpeedOptimal opposed the original poster's view, stating that this could be a 'great idea for a Champion.' Champions in Clash Royale are the rarest and most exclusive cards. They commented:
"I think this is a great idea for a Champion, can't wait to see its ability!"
Since changes and updates help keep the game fresh, some players appreciate any new cards that enter the arena. User u/Western_Tap1641 commented:
Praising the consistency of Supercell for releasing new cards, another user, u/SpeedOptimal6217, stated:
"I'm just glad we're getting new cards consistently again."
Clash Royale's recent focus on the Goblin theme
Clash Royale recently released Goblin Queen's Journey, which is somewhat of an alternative to the Trophy Road. In this mode, players collect Goblin Trophies while teaming up with the Goblin Queen. Since then, the game has also released four new Goblin Cards: Goblin Demolisher, Goblin Machine, Suspicious Bush, and the Goblin Curse.
For a few weeks, Supercell shifted its attention to other updates, including Mega Knight and PEKKA Evolutions. The new card can either be the final Goblin card for a while or one of the many that are soon to come.
