First-of-its-kind Clash of Clans Controllable Heroes Challenges have gone live and will last through December 31, 2024. It's worth mentioning that Supercell usually releases monthly challenges, involving conquering a strongly-defended base. However, breaking tradition, a new type of challenge has been introduced, which tasks players to conquer 24 different villages.

As mentioned previously, the Clash of Clans Controllable Heroes Challenges involves 24 bases to conquer. However, only 14 have been unlocked to engage with, and the remaining ones will be available after a few days.

The rewards offered in these challenges include Chests, introduced with the Treasure Hunt event, and a mystery gift that will be unlocked once you conquer all 24 bases.

How to play the Clash of Clans Controllable Heroes Challenges

Unlike other COC challenges that involve three-starring a village using assigned army composition, conquering a base in the Controllable Heroes Challenges requires building your own army around one provided Hero. This is done by making such units move around the base and destroy different candies, unlocking multiple Spells and Pets.

Unlike how you attack an enemy base in usual multiplayer raids, you can control Heroes in the Controllable Challenges by tapping a spot on the ground, making the unit reach there. Furthermore, to take down a building, you must click on it, which makes the Hero attack it.

You can three-star a base in such challenges by wiping out the whole village or taking down the Firework Building. The first few bases are pretty easy to conquer. However, once you progress, the villages get difficult to three-star, and can only be raided by moving around the base and creating as powerful an army as possible.
