It has been released via the Mashup Mania event. This is a medal event themed around Halloween, and it also offers many other exclusive decors and two event-exclusive currencies: Sour Elixirs and Mashup Medals.

Clash of Clans' Lavaloon Puppet Equipment allows the Grand Warden to summon one or two Lavaloons, depending on the level the gear is upgraded to. An amalgamation of Lavahound and Balloon, the Lavaloons are exclusive troops released in the Mashup Mania event. Besides this, the Equipment boosts the hero's damage per second and hitpoints.

The Lavaloons are powerful tanks that boast colossal hitpoints, damage per second, and damage when destroyed. However, they have a slow movement speed, can only target ground entities, and prefer attacking air defenses. Once eliminated, a Lavaloon spawns six Lavaloon Pups. These are tiny Lavahound-like creatures with high movement speed, and they can target ground as well as aerial entities.

The Grand Warden usually serves as a supporter of players' armies, as most of his Equipment is skilled at boosting or making troops immune to incoming attacks. These inflict lethal damage to aerial troops, and therefore, should be destroyed as soon as possible.
