The Clash of Clans Minion Prince Dark Orb Hero Equipment has been finally launched as per the new Town Hall 17 update. This is the second Hero Equipment for the Minion Prince in Clash of Clans alongside the Henchman Puppet. This is an offensive Hero equipment compared to the other’s defensive nature. The Clash of Clans Minion Prince dark Orb Hero Equipment is one of the two default starting equipment for this new Hero. This Hero Equipment lets the Minion Prince launch a massive ball of darkness (known as the titular dark Orb) which damages all buildings and heroes in its path. Moreover, it also slows them down for a brief period.

Additionally, the Minion Prince also gets buffed, as his DPS (damage per second) and HP increase. As such, its tactical concept is very different from his defensive Hero Equipment – the Henchman Puppet.
As such, this Hero Equipment seems to boost the Minion Prince’s offensive capabilities while raiding villages. When you realize that you need extra firepower to get a three-star raid victory, you can launch the Dark Orb at places where enemy Heroes and defense towers are gathered. They will all be heavily damaged and slowed down, trapping them as your other troops swarm over them.

The X post above states all the stat upgrades of the Clash of Clans Minion Prince Dark Orb Hero Equipment at various Town Hall levels.
The Dark Orb deals 45 damage across six AoE (Area of Effect) tiles and slows down enemies by 20% for six seconds. It also buffs the Minion Prince’s DPS by 10 and his HP recovery by 88.
At max level (18) in Town Hall 14 and above, the orb does 200 damage across six tiles, along with slowing enemies down by 50% for 18 seconds. It also buffs the Minion Prince’s DPS by 73 and his HP by 640. You will also require 27,260 Shiny Ores and 2,320 Glowy Ores to max out this Hero Equipment.
