The event kicks off with a tutorial and players are tasked with raiding villages to collect Cogs, which are essential for progression. They can be earned by attacking in multiplayer battles and are randomly assigned to three buildings on the battlefield.
As players progress, they unlock rewards on the Event Track, including three powerful temporary troops and a destructive spell. A total of 16,000 Cogs are required to complete the track, unlocking the Rocking Reindeer decoration and access to a bonus track with more rewards.
Players can exchange Toy Medals, earned through the Clash of Clans Toyshop Throwdown event, in the Trader Shop for exclusive items. These include the newly introduced Electro Boots Hero equipment.
Three temporary troops available in the Clash of Clans Toyshop Throwdown event
Here are the temporarily available troops:
- C.O.O.K.I.E: This troop uses a whirlwind attack to deal devastating damage to nearby enemies. With hit points identical to a max-level Valkyrie but 43 times the damage per second, the C.O.O.K.I.E can even one-shot a Town Hall. Its 10-housing space makes it versatile for funneling or taking down high-value targets in multiplayer battles.
- Ice Wizard: The Ice Wizard will target defenses and reduce their attack speed in the upcoming Clash of Clans Toyshop Throwdown event. Compared to a regular Wizard, it has more hit points but slightly lower damage. It’s ideal for situations where defense targeting is crucial, such as clearing high-damage areas behind a tank like a Golem. However, its slower speed and specific targeting may limit its effectiveness for cleanup tasks.
- Ram Rider: Returning from previous events, the Ram Rider targets defenses and breaks through walls, freezing its target upon impact. After the initial freeze, it behaves like a ranged Hog Rider, jumping over walls and attacking defenses from a distance. With 12 housing spaces, the Ram Rider boasts hit points comparable to a Giant and damage similar to a Wizard.

Santa's Surprise spell and Electro Boots Hero Equipment
The Santa's Surprise spell has received a significant upgrade in the Clash of Clans Toyshop Throwdown event to offer a concentrated damage area. At max level, it deals 1,950 damage, enough to one-shot an Air Defense while only occupying two spell slots. This efficiency makes it an excellent choice for air-based strategies, especially when paired with Archer Queen's Giant Arrow.
On the other hand, the Electro Boots is a new Epic rarity Hero equipment for the Royal Champion, offering unique self-healing abilities. With 60 health points regained per second, this equipment enhances the Royal Champion's survivability, alongside providing an aura of damage similar to the Electro Titan. Players can purchase this Hero Equipment for a cost of 3,100 Toy Medals in the Trader Shop.
