As mentioned, the Grudge System gives Indus Battle Royale players a higher chance of queuing up with the one who last killed them. However, once the match is over after you die, you must manually activate the Grudge System to increase your chances of queuing with your killer on the next match.

After you get killed in a match, you automatically get the Declare Grudge option against them. So, if you decide to hold a grudge against them, you will queue with them more often in the future. If you two end up in the same lobby, the game’s map will also show you their approximate location.
However, it will not reveal your grudge’s exact location and will instead mark the region they are in. The game will also notify you when your grudge drops off the plane at the start. If you kill your grudge and take revenge, you will be rewarded with special items like cosmetics, emotes, and weapons in the game.

When you place a grudge against someone, you become the Hunter and the other player becomes the Defender.
