Honor of Kings Meng Ya build guide: Skills explanation and skills-upgrading priority

Meng Ya's Passive skills (Image via Level Infinite)
Meng Ya's Passive skills (Image via Level Infinite)

We have explained the skills of this Farm Lane hero below:

  • Fiery Temper (Passive Skill): Meng Ya’s skills cooldown reduces by 1% for every 5% Attack Speed buff. He gains 5 Anger when his Basic Attack and skill hits (gains 10 Anger upon ten critical hits). The hero enters the Excited state upon reaching max Anger. This state enhances all skills and reduces the cooldown of Awesome Barrage and Heavy Shot by 25% to 50%. He also restores 3 (+1% physical attack) Health for every excess Anger. If Meng Ya doesn’t gain the Anger effect for 3 seconds, the effect decreases over time.
  • Awesome Barrage (Skill 1): Meng Ya fires bullets continuously for 5 seconds, each dealing 96 (40+34% physical attack) physical damage. His movement speed reduces by 50 while using this skill and it enters cooldown after casting. Bullets can pierce when in the Excited state, dealing 50% damage to subsequent enemies. The bullet's firing speed increases by 1% for every 1.5% Attack Speed (up to 100%). Players must tap and hold the button to use this skill, and they must release it to use others. Furthermore, Meng Ya gains 5 Anger when the skill hits and 10 upon landing a critical hit.
  • Heavy Shot (Skill 2): He shoots a heavy round, dealing 191 (150+25% physical attack) Physical damage to enemies and slowing them by 25% for 2 seconds. The bullet splits when it hits a wall or an enemy or reaches its maximum range. After that, the bullet explodes and splits into five splinters that can ricochet off walls and inflict 382 (300+50% physical attack) Physical damage to the first enemy hit. The number of splinters increases from 5 to 9 in the Excited state. Meng Ya gains 5 Anger every time the rounds or splinters hit an enemy.
  • Missile Mayhem (Ultimate Skill): Meng Ya scans his surroundings and marks the location of enemies (can mark up to 5 enemies) within range when they receive damage from teammates. He gains 50% movement speed while scanning. After completing the scanning process, he fires missiles, dealing 415 (250+100% physical attack) Physical damage. If the same target gets multiple hits, the subsequent ones deal 75% less damage and grant 10 Anger. He fires one missile every second for 8 seconds. If the skill is interrupted or canceled, he gets back 50% of the cooldown. In the Excited state, the interval between each missile reduces to 0.5 seconds. Players can hold the button for 3 seconds to extend the scan range.
