Honor of Kings Season 8 Sneak Preview event: New features and rewards

Level Infinite has announced the release date of Honor of Kings Season 8. It will be available after the update on January 9, 2025. The developers shared a post on X, giving a glimpse of four new features players can expect in the upcoming season. And they’ve started an in-game sneak preview event where players can view brief information about the upcoming features.

Details about the Sneak Preview event, new features, and rewards for Honor of Kings Season 8

Level Infinite started a sneak preview event for the upcoming Honor of Kings Season 8 on January 2, 20025, which will be available till January 16. Players can view details about four new features, complete missions, and obtain rewards. Each feature has a different section, offering three missions each.

Completing each mission grants rewards like Arcana Fragments and Double Starstone cards. They can partake in it in-game through Events > 1/09 Version Sneak Preview. Here are the details:

New Season: Fresh Horizons Season update sneak preview event

The ongoing HoK Season 7 will wrap up in the forthcoming update. Players can play the Honor of Kings Season 8, Fresh Horizons, after the January 9, 2025, update. Level Infinite hasn’t provided much information about it as of this writing. However, it unveiled a new season skin for Donghuang — Sky Devourer.

• Log in for a total of 1 day (s): 10 ✕ Arcana Fragment
• Watch Level 1 video for 15 seconds: 1 ✕ Double Starstone card (1 day)

Players will get 500 ✕ Arcana Fragments upon completing all three missions.

New Themed Mode for the New Year

Level Infinite will introduce a new battlefield-themed mode, Summon Sprite, for the New Year. Summon Sprite is a common skill for all heroes that will be available for a limited time from January 9 to January 23, 2025. Players can use this skill on brushes to summon a Brush Sprite, which can help one push lanes and take towers. The sprite can also heal heroes continuously till they survive on the battlefield.

Here is the list of missions in New Themed Mode for the New Year and their rewards:

Dragon’s Hoard Now Online Sneak Preview event

Dragon’s Hoard is a new perk system, which Level Infinite will introduce in Honor of King Season 8. The system allows players to obtain over 20 skins for free. Players must obtain Dragon Crystals by increasing their tier, which they can use to make wishes at the Dragon’s Hoard to get free skins, including Legendaries

One must play as many matches as one can and increase one's tier to obtain Legendary skins. The higher the tier the greater rewards one can obtain from the Dragon’s Hoard.

Level Infinite will upgrade rewards in the Honor Pass for the Honor of Kings Season 8. The developers have added two new heroes, two skin chests, and a huge Token rebates to the Season 8’s pass.

Here is the list of missions in Upgraded Honor Pass rewards sneak preview event and their rewards:

• Log in for a total of 4 day (s): 10 ✕ Arcana Fragment
• Play a total of 4 matches: 1 ✕ Double Starstone card (valid for one day)
• Share the stage 4 image once: 1 ✕ Rose of Friendship

Players will get 1 ✕ Hero Draw Voucher upon completing all the above-listed missions.

Players can also get a grand prize after completing all three missions (a total of 12) in the preview events listed above. The grand prize includes 1 ✕ Frozen Champ Recall Effect, which one claim after the Honor of Kings January 9, 2025, update.
