As described earlier, the upcoming challenge is divided into four stages, each featuring three matches in a particular game mode. Players begin their quest by competing in the Last Stop map in the Gem Grab game mode. This mode requires them to collect 10 gems and store them in their possession for fifteen seconds to win a match.

After winning three games, they proceed to stage 2, which features the Hideout map of Bounty game mode. Players can achieve victory by knocking out enemy Brawlers and collecting 20 stars. Meanwhile, stage 3 organizes contests between players in the Safe Zone map of Heist game mode where the objective is to destroy the opponent's Heist Safe while protecting their own to achieve victory.

Finally, the last stage features the Knockout mode in the Out In The Open map. This mode requires players to defeat three opponent Brawlers in two successive rounds to win a match. Upon winning three games, they will unlock the Brawl Stars Gruesome Gus skin without spending 79 gems, which is the initial cost of the outfit.

Notably, players only get four lives in these matches, which means they have to win 12 without losing more than three. Additionally, Supercell provides an opportunity to collect extra lives by spending nine gems for every two lives.
