Marvel Contest of Champions Battlegrounds Season 22 has been underway since October 2, 2024. The new season also marks the second anniversary of the Battlegrounds game mode, which features player vs player (PVP) battles. 1) Victory Track

In the Victory Track battles, players progress from Bronze to Vibranium divisions by collecting Victory Medals, which are rewarded for winning each match. The following Nodes will be active for the Victory Track of Marvel Contest of Champions Battlegrounds Season 22:

• Fury: Once a Defender is struck, it has a 10% chance of activating a Fury Buff, which boosts the attack by 100 points for 8 seconds.
• Float Like a Butterfly: The Fury Buff gets paused, it will resume for 8 seconds if an Attacker Dodges or Evades an attack.
• Rich get Richer: The Champion with a greater number of Unique Buffs gets 6% of Bar of Power every second.
• Daunt-less: The Attacker starts the battle with a half-full Spirit Gauge.

2) The Gladiator Circuit

Once Victory Track is completed, players compete for points in the Gladiator Circuit, which determines their rank on a Global Leaderboard. The rewards are as follows:

• Crit me with your best shot: Defender takes no damage from non-critical hits.
• Critical Interruption: Connecting with the enemy's Dash Attack with a Basic Attack rewards the Attacker with a 100% Crit Rate for seven seconds.
• Daunt-less: The Attacker starts the battle with a half-full Spirit Gauge.

Players will have to complete specific tasks to earn Realm Event Points, which can be used to unlock Milestone Rewards. The points are rewarded for the specific tasks as follows:

• Play and win a match in the Victory Track using the Elder’s Marks: 45
• Play and win a match in the Gladiator Circuit using the Elder’s Marks: 90
• Play and win a match in the Victory Track using Energy: 8
• Play and win a match in the Gladiator Circuit using the Elder’s Marks: 16
• Play and finish a match in the Victory Track using the Elder’s Marks: 23

Additionally, players who complete Vibranium 1 and reach the Gladiator Circuit can get a Silver Surfer Emote and a 7-Star Deathless She-Hulk piece. Players who manage to defeat a Kabam Employee will get a Kabammed emote.
