Marvel Snap High Voltage is a temporary game mode, and it has returned for the Marvel Rivals season of the title. The event features a progression-based reward track, and to advance, players have to collect a time-limited currency called Volts. Players who collect 8000 Volts will unlock the card.

High Voltage mode can be accessed from the "Game Modes" section, it will be featured at the top of the list. Clicking on "High Voltage" will display rewards and missions for the temporary game mode,

Marvel Snap High Voltage game mode has been active since December 24, 2024, and will run till January 5, 2025, 12 PM PST.

Details

The High Voltage game mode will feature the following rules:

The game starts with two cards in hand, and two cards are drawn at the beginning of each turn.
At the beginning of each turn, 2 to 5 energy will be given to each player.
On the first turn, both players will start with 2-5 Max Energy. Therefore by turn 3, players will have 6-15 Energy to use.
Both players will get the same amount of energy each turn.
The event battles will take place in three turns.
The player that controls at least two of the three locations by the end of the third turn wins.
The Cubes and Snap feature will be removed from the game mode.
Losing the event matches has no penalty.

Additionally, the following cards will not be allowed in this game mode:

Galactus
Black Widow
Magik
Goliath

asher and Spiderman 99 cards can be unlocked from the Marvel Snap High Voltage event

In addition to the Lasher card, players can unlock Spiderman 2099, Credits, a new avatar, and other in-game goodies. Here is a complete list of the featured rewards:

400 Volts: 500 Credits
2,000 Volts: Lasher Avatar
3,500 Volts: 2x Blue Ice Borders
5,000 Volts: 1000 Credits
10,000 Volts: Spiderman 2099 Variant
11,000 Volts: Lasher Base Card
