Marvel Snap Toxin is the devilish offspring of Carnage and costs two mana. It has one power, making it a cheap card to use early in the game. However, while it may be a cheap card with less power, it has an interesting On Reveal ability:
“On Reveal: Return your other cards here to your hand. +2 Power for each returned.”
Toxin’s ability alone makes it powerful in many “Bounce” decks centered around returning cards to their respective player’s hands. You can use this mechanic to free up space in your locations to summon other cards or to remove threats from your opponent’s locations.
As such, this card synergizes well with other cards like Beast, Bast, Falcon, Scorn, and Agent Venom. You can also use this card in the best Marvel Snap Scarlet Spider decks for greater effect.
Marvel Snap Toxin: How to use it’s ability effectively
Marvel Snap Toxin works best in Bounce decks that synergize around returning cards to your hand.
For example, you can summon Toxin and have it return other cards with On-Reveal abilities back to your hand, letting you summon and use their respective abilities again the next turn. This works exceptionally well with cards like Brood and Scarlet Spider, allowing you to summon free copies of them again in other locations with power disadvantages.
Moreover, you can add this card to the best Marvel Snap Gwenpool decks to make it re-summon Gwenpool to add +3 power to all cards in your hand again. Doing so lets you buff up the power of all cards in your hand before playing them and overpowering the enemy in most locations.
Therefore, the trick is to use Toxin to return up to three cards to your hand (preferably one-cost cards) so that you can play them the next turn for free using cards like Sera.
