Players can now transcend the battlefield's realm using Astral Team. Their Legendary leader, Shadow King, has already been introduced. Astral Team's overview showcases how it will affect the Battleworld and will introduce many characters skilled at telepathy. Here are the new characters that will join Astral Team:

1) Ancient One

Once a mentor to Doctor Strange and countless others, Ancient One is a master of the mystic arts who guards the earth from evil forces. Introduced in the Marvel Strike Force Now Boarding Astral Plane update, the character possesses powers like astral projection, time manipulation, and energy constructs.

A Brawler in the Astral Team, Ancient One can inflict damage and other effects while granting her team Ability Energy. Here are the other details relating to the character:

Speed: 122

Basic: Soul Strike

Strikes target for 200% Piercing and applies two Bleed.
Applies an additional two Bleed to the primary target on Crit.
If forced to attack a teammate, the character inflicts less damage to Astral characters.

Iso: 8/Counter Attack/ Assists

Strikes target for 157% Piercing and applies two Bleed.
Applies an extra two Bleed to the primary target on Crit.
If forced to attack an Astral ally, the character inflicts only 25% of the damage.

Special: Serene Devastation

Energy Cost: 4/4
Turns all positive effects into negative effects on all foes.
Strikes all foes for 200% Piercing, 5% of each target's Max Health, and applies Heal Black for two turns.
The attack receives 50% Extra Crit Damage.
Applies three Counter to the self and all teammates.
Applies Speed Up to the self and all teammates in Battleworld.

Ultimate: Arcan Regin

Energy Cost: 4/6
Strikes the target for 250% Piercing and Rebound Chain to three nearby enemies for 250% Piercing.
Strikes the enemy with the most critical health for 250% Piercing, applies Stun, and reduces Speed Bar by 100%.
Applies Safeguard to the self and all Astral allies.

Passive: Master of the Mystic Arts

Turns Heal Block on the self and allies on Turn.
On the self and Astral ally Crit, the character generates one Ability Energy for the self and all Astral allies.

2) Emma Frost (X-Men)

Once a manipulative member of the Hellfire Club, Emma Frost is a fresh Hero Support for Astral Team introduced in the Marvel Strike Force Now Boarding Astral Plane update. Here are her other details:

Traits: Hero, Global, Mutant, Support, X-Men, Astral
Speed: 111

Basic: Gleaming Strike

Strikes a target for 270% Piercing.
Applies Regeneration for Two Turns and an additional regeneration for one turn to the most critical injured team member.
If forced to attack an ally, the character inflicts less damage to Astral Team members.

Iso: 8/Counter Attack/Assists:

Strikes enemies for 193% Damage and 17% Piercing.
Applies Regeneration for two turns and an extra Regernation for a single turn to the ally with the least health.
If forced to attack an ally, it inflicts 25% less damage to the Astral ally.

Special: Dazzling Domination

Energy Cost: 4/4
Strikes the primary target for 250% damage and applies Ability Block for a single turn and Defense Down for two turns.
Applies Offenses Down to the controller character.
Applies Defense Up for two turns to the self and all teammates.
These attacks are unavoidable.

Ultimate: Psychic Wrath

Energy Cost: 3/5
Strikes the primary target for 350% damage and 10% of the target's Max health.
If the character doesn't possess Trauma, she copies and clears all negative effects except for Stun.
The character Mind Controls all enemies near the primary target and makes them attack the primary target. The controlled character receives 50% extra damage output for the attack.

Passive: Reformed Queen, Brilliant Teacher

On Spawn: Applies Defense Up to the self and all teammates. Barriers the self, all the Astral teammates, and X-Men allies for 30% of the character's Max Health.
If the character or an Astral ally loses 50% of health, clears all negative effects on the character and barriers them for 30% of Emma Frost's Max Health.
In Battleworld: When Emma Frost, an Astral teammate, or an X-Men ally receives Disrupted, clears all Disrupted and applies Immunity on the character.

2) Doctor Strange updates

In the Marvel Strike Force Now Boarding Astral Plane update, Doctor Strange's role as a supporting character has been enhanced. The Resistance Bonus the character used to give himself has now been converted into his base stats. The same has been done to his Secret Defenders teammates.

Doctor Strange's old Charged mechanics have been reworked, allowing him to summon Wong when charged. Furthermore, previous moderate healing has been replaced with a consistent Turn-healing ability. This restores 5% health for the character and all allies for each turn.

3) Moondragon updates

In the Marvel Strike Force Now Boarding Astral Plane update, Moondragon has been revamped by incorporating the Resistance and Focus Bonuses that she used to grant herself in her base stats. The developer removed them from the character's Passive to ensure there was no loss of power and applied these bonuses to Moondragon's base stats.
