1) Web free character shard claim update

Starting January 2, 2024, Black Knight will replace your Mister Negative as a part of the daily Web Free Claim once you upgrade him to seven stars.

2) Medusa weekly free claim

From December 29, 2024, there will be a weekly Free Claim for 15 Medusa character shards.

3) Jean Grey is coming

Jean Grey is all set to arrive in-game on January 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm (PST). As a supporting character, she can protect allies with Barriers and reduce the starting Ability Energy for all foes.

4) Path to Uncanny Avengers

Besides joining forces in Raids with the Uncanny Avengers, Jean Grey and Hercules will lead their own team upon their arrival.

Players must collect character shards to obtain fresh Uncanny Avengers characters. These are collected through the Path to Jean Grey Orb and the Path to Hercules Orb.

The following is what team orbs contain:

Character shards for characters named on the orb.
The Path to Jean Grey Orb offers character shards for X-Men characters, such as Storm, Beast, Cable, and Polaris.
The Path to Hercules Orb offers character shards for Avengers characters, such as Falcon, Invisible Woman, Scarlet Witch, and Vision.

5) Unbelievable

Players can combine the Mutant gene with the power of the gods of Olympus using the imminent Uncanny Avenger Super Showcase.

6) Winter's Peak Tower

The Winter's Peak Tower challenge will go live on December 23, 2024, at 1:00 pm (PST). In this, players can fight through 50 floors of foes using characters with at least five Yellow Stars. Losing a battle will degrade them to the previous checkpoint. Note that there is a checkpoint on every fifth floor, with floor 45 being an exception.

Rewards revealed in the Marvel Strike Force Weekly Blog for Winter's Peak Tower challenge are as follows:

Leaderboard rewards: Red Stars, Diamonds for Storm, Falcon, Beast, Armory 19 Orb Fragments, and Snow Globes.
Milestone rewards: Path to Medusa Orb Fragments, Two Turtle Doves Milestone Points, T2 Iso-8 Orb Fragments, and Crimson Gear Orb Fragments.
