Below is the skills overview of Mercuria in Reverse 1999:
- Restless Souls (Basic Skill 1): Mercuria deals damage to a single target and heals the ally with the lowest HP. She deals additional Mental damage for every 2/3 rank incantation in the AP Area.

- Morning Star for the Night (Ultimate Skill): Mercuria attacks all enemies after dispelling Stats Up and Pos Status effects from enemies. She also grants the Rank Up status effect to all allies.
Mercuria’s status effects’ explanation
- Cosmic Energy: It creates a Force Field whose every stack increases the damage-dealing ability of all allies in a team.
- Rank Up: The incantation rank of allies increases by one if it is subject to star calculations. It doesn’t affect the incantation’s inherent effects.
Mercuria’s inheritance or Passive Skill in Reverse 1999 is Long Journey. At Insight I, she obtains a certain number of Cosmic Energy stacks while entering the battle. When her teammate casts an incantation, she gains stacks of Cosmic Energy based on the incantation’s rank. She also gains Moxie for every Natural Afflatus ally while entering the battle.
At Insight 2, entering the battle increases her attack. At Insight 3, she increases the critical damage of all allies at the start of the round if she has stacks of Cosmic Energy. If stacks of Cosmic Energy reach a higher number, she increases the incantation might for all allies. Mercuria gains extra Moxie at the round’s end if her teammate has used a certain number of Rank 3 incantations.

Should you pull Mercuria in Reverse 1999?
Mercuria in Reverse 1999 is not a must-pull for all Timekeepers. Her biggest strength is Cosmic Energy buff, which boosts all her allies’ critical damage and incantation might at Insight III. It is convenient to obtain if paired with teammates who can consistently use high-rank incantations, like Plant Afflatus Marcus and Intelligence Afflatus Lucy. She synergizes excellently with those characters at P0.
If Timekeepers have Marcus or Lucy, they can pull Mercuria to make a robust team. Players who upgrade Mercuria to Portrait 5 (P5) can use her with any Arcanists. It doesn’t mean that she is unplayable with other Arcanists at P0. However, players might find it tough to take full advantage of her Cosmic Energy buff.
