The Monster Hunter Now Season 4 Kickoff event will start on December 12, 2024, and last until December 22, 2024.

Many monsters will debut in this event, including Tigrex, Lagombi, Volvidon, and Somnacanth. Players will be challenged to take them down, earn precious materials, and forge strong new equipment. Additionally, gamers can participate in limited-time quests to earn monsters' materials.

1) Event details

Monster appearances:

Tigrex monsters will appear more frequently in tundra habitats. Also, they will appear in low numbers in forest and desert habitats.
Lagombi monsters will also appear in tundra habitats.
Volvidon monsters will appear in forest, desert, and swamp habitats.
Somnacanth monsters will appear in swamp and tundra habitats.

Defeating Lagombi, Volvidon, and Somnacanth will have them appear in the Monster Tracker. Apart from the monsters mentioned here, there will be others appearing in the field.

2) Limited-time quests

Limited-time quests include slaying large monsters. Rewards for the completion of such tasks include Gatherable materials like Sleep Herb and Snow Herb, and Monster materials like Wyvern Gem Shard, Tigrex Plate, and Tigrex Scalp.

3) Exclusive packs on sale

Limited-time packs will be released in the in-game shop and Web Store. These will arrive on December 12 and will be available until December 22, 2024.

Season 4 pack comprising 10 Potions, 5 Paintballs, Ultra Hunting Tickets, and 10 Special Carving Knives.
