Monster Hunter Now Thunder Element Quests: Schedule, rewards, and more

Niantic has announced the Monster Hunter Now Thunder Element Quests event, which will arrive on November 4, 2024, at 9 am and continue until November 10, 2024, at 11:59 pm (local time). This event's specialty is that it allows players to upgrade the thunder-element weapons after they slay Rajang, Zinogre, Tobi-Kadachi, and Tzitzi-Ya-Ku monsters.

The Monster Hunter Now Thunder Element Quests event offers rewards such as monster materials, a Gold Rajang Pelt, a Zinogre Plate, and other collectibles. Players can also expect packs in the in-game shop and Web Store that will help with upgrades.

The monster, Rajang, will frequently appear in forest, desert, and swamp habitats in the Monster Hunter Now Thunder Element Quests event. Meanwhile, Zinogre will regularly appear in forest and swamp habitats. Slaying these two monsters and Tobi-Kadachi and Tzitzi-Ya-Ku will yield 50% more rewards than usual.

There will also be limited-time quests that include defeating large monsters. They will yield gatherable materials, monster materials, Gold Rajang Pelt, and Zinogre Plate.

While the offered gatherable materials include Earth Crystals, monster materials comprise Gold Rajang Pelt and Zinogre Plate.

A few limited-time packs will also be released at the in-game shop and Web Store. Players can purchase them between November 1, 2024, 12:00 pm and November 17, 2024, 11:59 pm (UTC+0).

The following are the offered packs:

Early Winter Materials Pack: Sharp Claw x50 and Wingdrake Hide x50
Early Winter Bones Pack: Monster Bone S x50
Early Winter Ores Pack: Iron Ore x50

Besides these, the Web Store-exclusive item, Premium Hunter Support Pack, will be available between November 1, 2024, 12 am, and December 1, 2024, 11:59 pm (UTC+0). This pack contains a Special Carving Knife, a Paintball, and 1,540 Bonus Gems.

Those who complete the prologue will find Rajang, Zinogre, Tobi-Kadachi, and Tzitzi-Ya-Ku.
Event quests will be availed in the Special Quests tab for those who complete the prologue.
