The Monster Hunter Now Triumvirate of Catastrophe event is set to arrive on January 1, 2025, and will run through January 5, 2025. Players can expect frequent appearances of Elder Dragon Interception points, limited-time quests themed around slaying Elder Dragons, and tons of rewards in this event.

Elder Dragon Interceptions

During the event, there will be frequent occurrences of Elder Dragon Interceptions at points where Hunt-a-thons and Elder Dragons Interceptions usually take place. Note that the number of basic rewards will be doubled for repelling and will be 1.5 times than usual for slaying an Elder Dragon in the event. Players will also receive two of these items between the first and fourth reward slots.

Limited-time quests

Participate in limited-time quests that involve slaying or repelling Nergigante, Teostra, and Kushala Daora.

Rewards in the Monster Hunter Now Triumvirate of Catastrophe event include an exclusive Triumvirate of Catastrophe Medal and Monster materials like Nergigante Horn, Teostra Horn, and Daora Horn.

During the event, limited-time packs will be available for sale in the in-game shop and web store.

First sale period

Schedule: From January 1, 2025 to January 5, 2025.
Offered items: Daily Zenny Pack (Zenny x 50,000), Daily Weapon Refining Pack (Weapon Refining Parts x 4), and Daily Armor Refining Pack (Armor Refining Parts x 4).

These packs can be purchased only once a day. Only up to five of these packs can be bought during the event.

Second sale period

Schedule: From January 1, 2025 to January 8, 2025.
Offered items: NY Greetings A Pack (NY Greetings A outfit x 1, Wander Droplet x 1, Potion x 3), NY 2025 Bargain Gems (Gem x 2,300), NY 2025 Bargain Gems (Gem x 15,000), Web Store-exclusive: NY 2025/Outfit Pack (NY Greetings B outfit x 1, Bonus Gem x 6,640), Web Store-exclusive: NY 2025 Big Bargain Gems (Gem x 35,000).
