In light of these issues, Supercell, the game's developer, decided to disable the affected modes to investigate and resolve the underlying problems. This move aims to restore a smoother gaming experience for players and allow them to enjoy team-based battles.

In Supercell's latest post, it announced that the 2v2 modes will be restored on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, along with the October balance maintenance.

The Classic and Welterweight 2v2 modes are popular among players for their unique gameplay dynamics, allowing for strategic team play and collaboration. However, with the current disruptions, players are encouraged to explore other available game modes while awaiting updates on the situation.

As part of its commitment to player satisfaction, Supercell has been actively monitoring feedback, which prompted them to take quick and decisive action regarding the issues.

Players weren't able to enjoy their game fully when the 2v2 modes got plagued with matchmaking problems. However, the prompt response from the developers will no doubt assure the community as they await the return of these game modes.
