Krafton India 2025 Roadmap flagship tournaments: BGIS and BMPS 2025

The year will commence with the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025, which opens registrations on January 3, 2025. This tournament boasts a substantial prize pool of INR 2 crores, allowing aspiring players to showcase their skills within the competitive esports landscape.

Karan Pathak, Associate Director of Esports at KRAFTON India, shared his excitement about the upcoming events and said:

“We are thrilled to unveil the 2025 roadmap for KRAFTON India Esports as we continue our mission to foster the growth of Esports in India. Alongside our flagship events, we are strengthening community engagement through initiatives like the Esports College Campus Tour, which will expand to even more colleges across the country."

Notably, KRAFTON India will host the prestigious BGIS LAN Finals in Kolkata in April, furthering its commitment to making esports accessible to audiences nationwide.

Following BGIS, KRAFTON will introduce the Battlegrounds India Mobile Pro Series (BMPS) 2025. This exclusive tournament will feature the country's top professional teams competing for another INR 2 crore prize pool, ensuring a thrilling showcase of talent and strategy.

In addition to flagship tournaments, KRAFTON has announced the Rising Star program, aimed at nurturing upcoming esports players and content creators. Krafton India 2025 Roadmap: Esports College Campus Tour

As part of their plans for the Krafton India 2025 Roadmap, KRAFTON has announced that they will be continuing their Esports College Campus Tour in 2025, expanding its reach to more colleges across India. With a total prize pool exceeding INR 2 crores, each participating college will receive over INR 2 lakhs.

So far, the tour has engaged students from prestigious institutions like IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, and K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering. This has helped in fostering a deeper connection between education and competitive gaming.

While unveiling the Krafton India 2025 Roadmap, Pathak further said,

"Our Rising Star program represents a pivotal step in spotlighting upcoming Esports talent in the country and providing them the necessary tools to make a mark in the industry.
