In the reveal trailer of this collaborative event, Mr. Monopoly can be seen creating something in a science lab with his friend when Peg-E — the robot from the prize drop event — accidentally pushes a lever while chasing a butterfly.
This opens a portal in the laboratory, and superheroes like the Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man, Rocket the Racoon, etc., stare at Mr. Monopoly and his scientist friend from the other side. When Mr. Monopoly throws a dice at them, the Hulk reaches for it. The next scene shows all the superheroes having arrived in the Monopoly Go universe.
